How To Join MISC

How do you join MISC?

To shoot at the Melbourne International Shooting Club (MISC) there are a number of formalities that need to be completed. While the process may seem daunting at first it is a relatively simple process and the club will guide you through the various steps.

The first step is to register your interest to join the club. From there we will organise to get you along to the club for an orientation day. Then once you have seen the club and we have answered all your questions, you can make an informed decision if our club is right for you.

For Pistol Shooting, our current Membership fees are $780 pa for an Adult, and one off joining fee of $400. We have concession, Partner, and junior rates which are less than this.  Rifle Target Shooting is for .22lr only, and generally a specialised rifle is required. We would love to have you at our club but there are costs involved, so before you register your interest to join, please take this into account. Membership fees are here.

Licensed shooters transferring from other clubs

Shooters transferring from other external clubs are welcome. As a matter of club policy, a letter of introduction from the member’s
existing club secretary will be required prior to joining. An exception may be made if the new member is introduced by one of our own members. Licensed shooters who join must still attend a club introduction program which covers the club’s rules and range orders. Please click the appropriate Rifle or Pistol  button above to submit a request.
